This is a nice Waltham, Grade No. 630 pocket watch made in 1901. It is in excellent running order and keeps excellent time. It has been recently cleaned, oiled and timed. SIZE and WEIGHT This is a 16 size 1899 model. It measures around 52 mm (2.04 inches) in diameter (excluding pendant crown and bow). It weighs about 90 g. CASE The open-face case is made of steel and still in excellent condition for its age with very minimal wear. Engraved with serial number 452596. It is also marked KEYSTONE, STEEL BASE METAL. Back lid and bezel click on and off with any problem. MOVEMENT 16 Size movement in excellent and clean condition. Marked A. W. W. Co., WALTHAM, MASS. with serial number 11040107, 17 JEWELS, ADJUSTED. It has a SAFETY PINION, which will unscrew in case the main spring is broken. This protects the wheel train and bearings from the sudden released power of the mainspring. This is stem wind and set movement and has 17 jewels. It is running strong and keeps excellent time. DIAL The white porcelain dial is in excellent condition with only a faint hairline. It is marked WALTHAM. HANDS Blue spade hands are original and in excellent condition. CRYSTAL The glass crystal is in excellent condition without scratches or chips. This is a nice pocket watch fully functional and has been professionally checked and timed.
