| This a nice RECORD DREADNOUGHT TRENTON pocket watch made in Switzerland around 1930. It is in excellent running order and keeps excellent time. It has been recently cleaned, oiled and timed. SIZE and WEIGHT This is a 16 size model. It measures around 51 mm (2 inches) in diameter (excluding pendant crown and bow). It weighs about 94 g.CASE The open-face case is solid silver. It still in good collectible condition but shows some wear.Lids open and close as they should and have strong hinges. The case is made by the DENNISON WATCH CASE Co. and has Birmingham silver hallmarks and year 1919. MOVEMENT 16 Size movement in excellent and clean condition.Marked RECORD DREADNOUGHT WATCH FACTORIES, TRENTON, SWISS MADE, 7 JEWELS. This is stem wind and set movement and has 7 jewels. It is running strong and keeps excellent time. DIAL The white porcelain dial is in excellent condition without any hairlines or chips.It is marked RECORD DREANDNOUGHT, SWISS MADE. HANDS Spade and Whip blue steel hands are original and in excellent condition.CRYSTAL Glass crystal is in excellent condition without any scratches or chips.This is a fully functional pocket watch that has been professionally checked and timed. |
