| This is a nice P.S. Bartlett Grade, Waltham pocket watch made in 1892. It is in excellent running order and keeps excellent time. It has been recently cleaned, oiled and timed. SIZE and WEIGHT This is a 18 size 1883 model. It measures around 56 mm (2.2 inches) in diameter (excluding pendant crown and bow). It weighs about 151 g.CASE The open-face case is made of ORESILVER alloy and still in excellent condition for its age with very minimal wear. Engraved with serial number 6704317.It is also marked FAHYS ORESILVER, No 1, PAT. 19th Feb. 1884. Both lids screw on and off as they should. MOVEMENT 18 Size movement in excellent and clean condition.Marked P. S. Bartlett, WALTHAM, MASS. with serial number 5341246, 17 JEWELS, ADJUSTED. It has a SAFETY PINION, which will unscrew in case the main spring is broken. This protects the wheel train and bearings from the sudden released power of the mainspring. This is stem wind and set movement and has 17 jewels. It is running strong and keeps excellent time. In the database (see below), it is said that this movement has 15 jewels. They have been contacted to correct this error. DIAL The white porcelain dial is in excellent condition without any visible hairlines.It is marked WALTHAM. HANDS Blue steel hands are original and in excellent condition.CRYSTAL Thick glass crystal is in excellent condition without scratches or chips.This is a nice pocket watch fully functional and has been professionally checked and timed.
