| This is a nice 15 Jewels, Elgin pocket watch made in 1914. It is in excellent running order and keeps excellent time. It has been recently cleaned, oiled and timed. SIZE and WEIGHT This is a 12 size model. It measures around 45 mm (1.77 inches) in diameter (excluding pendant crown and bow). It weighs about 69 g.CASE The open-face case is gold-filled and still in excellent condition for its age with very minimal wear. It has a monogram engraved on the back lid. Engraved with serial number 2350162. It is also marked CRESCENT, WARRANTED 25 YEARS, C. W. C. TRADE MARK with a crescent and a star.All lids have string hinges, open and close as they should. MOVEMENT 12 Size movement in excellent and clean condition.Marked ELGIN NATL. WATCH CO., U. S. A. with serial number 17644888, 15 JEWELS. This is stem wind and set movement and has 15 jewels. It is running strong and keeps excellent time. DIAL The white porcelain dial is in excellent condition without any visible hairlines.It is marked ELGIN. HANDS Blue steel hands are original and in excellent condition.CRYSTAL Glass crystal is in excellent condition without any scratches or chips.This is a nice pocket watch fully functional and has been professionally checked and timed.
