The Boreal Arrow

Code T16: Singers Patent Leather-Cased Pocket Compass, c. 1880

This is a nice leather cased compass made in England around 1880. It has a nice dial, marked SINGER'S PATENT. The compass is in excellent working order and finds North easily and precisely. The compass is fitted in a nice brown leather wood case with dark blue velvet inside and still in excellent condition for its age. The hook is present and the lid closed and opens as it should. The inner compass measures 37mm in diameter and the leather outer case measures 47mm in diameter. Very nice and quality compass.
