Code BA25020603: Swiss Hunter Antique Compass, c. 1920
| This is a nice small hunter compass made in Switzerland around 1920. The case is made of an oxidized metal still in excellent condition for its age as seen in the pictures. No dings or dents. Inside the lid it is engraved SWISS MADE with the serial number 19 G. It has a strong hinge.The dial is stamped SWISS with very similar design to the one used on Longines Swiss compasses.When the lid is closed, the needle is locked to avoid damage to the pivot or bearing. The compass is very precise and finds North without any problem. The compass measures around 45mm in diameter. |
