| This is a nice WWI pocket compass engraved on lid ANGLO SWISS ASSOCIATION, London, V 65988, 1915 with the military arrow /|\. The case is made of brass and still in excellent condition without dings or dents. It has a strong hinge and the lid springs open when the button is pushed. It has a transit lock that is activated when the lid is closed. The dial is a variation of the Singer's Patent dial. It is covered with a flat bevelled glass crystal in excellent condition without chips or scratches. The compass measures around 4.7 cm in diameter. |
