| This a nice antique compass marked FLODIAL, Short & Mason made c. 1915. Taylor, Rochester, NY, PAT. APR. 20 - 1915. It has a dry rotating dial and the bright copper surround it. The case is made of Nickel and is in excellent condition without dings or dents. You have to screw/unscrew the crown in order to lock/unlock the dial. When released, it finds North easily and precisely. The glass crystal is in excellent condition and free of scratches or chips. The dial is in nice condition. The compass measures around 4.3cm in diameter. |
