Code BA24012501: Swiss Longines Compass, c. 1920
| This is a very nice SWISS hunter pocket compass made by Longines in the WWI era. It has a very slim brass case with only 7.75 mm thickness (less than 1 cm). The case is in nice condition without any dings or dents. Inside the lid it is marked SWISS with serial number 2466. It has a nice rotating dial card in excellent condition. It is marked Longines, SWISS. The flat crystal is also in flawless condition without scratches or chips. In full working order and finding North precisely with transit lock when the lid is closed. It comes with a nice leather lenyard in excellent condition. The compass measures around 44 mm in diameter. |
