Code BA22102101: WWI Officer's Private Purchase Compass and Folding Cup c. 1915
| This is a very nice and unusual officer's private purchase compass in a pocket watch case and folding cup inside. It dates from the WWI era. The front lid has a compass insert in perfect working condition and finding North without any problem. The case has no dings or dents and is made of brass. Marked on the back PATENT. E. J. T. No. 15061. It has blue velvet inside in excellent condition. The cup has six rings and is marked C. T. & S. 54707 on the back. It is in excellent condition. The case measures around 48mm in diameter. This is a rare and nice compass that would make a great gift. |
