| This a nice hunter compass made by the Schwab & Wuischpard Company established in New York in 1925. It is a high quality compass. The Schwab & Wuischpard Company produced these compasses (Stamped U.S.) during WWII. The dial is signed S&W, N.Y. with luminous cardinal points. It has a cylindrical pendant. It is in excellent working condition (finding North without any problem). The case is Nickel an in excellent condition without dings or dents. It has a strong hinge and the lid springs open as it should when the push button is pressed. The glass crystal is also in excellent condition. The transit lock is activated when the lid is closed. Measures 49mm in diameter. |
