Code BA16060301: J. H. Steward Liquid Filled Cavalry School Compass, c. 1920
This is a liquid filled compass made by the famous J. H. Steward based in London. The compass dates c. 1920. It has a black painted brass case in excellent condition. Some loss to the original black colour. It is marked CAVALRY SCHOOL COMPASS. The glass crystal is in excellent condition without chips or scratches. The typical Singer’s like dial has also a nice design and is in excellent condition. It shows some dirt inside the case which is normal for tis age. It is marked J. H. STEWARD, LONDON. The compass points North without any problem. It comes in its original leather case in excellent condition. It measures 52mm in diameter and is 24mm thick. |
