Code BA150321734: French Wood Cased Compass, c. 1920
This is a French wood cased compass made in the early 1900s. The case is in excellent condition for its age without any damage with only normal signs or use. It has a strong ginger and two hooks to secure the lid when closed. It has a rotating bezel that moves the arrow under the compass needle. The crystal glass and dial are in excellent condition. It has a locking system that comes into play when the lid is closed. The dial has numerals from 0 to 360 with an increment of 20. It is in excellent working condition and points to magnetic North without ant problem. It measures Size 76x76x27 mm. |
