| This is a nice 9ct solid gold compass fob made in England and hallmarked 9 carat gold Birmingham 1913. There is also the maker's signature: J. M. Very beautiful if worn as pendant. On the back back it has very nice and crisp engravings. The compass has a nice yellow dial and a quality jeweled needle. It swings freely and points to North precisely. It has a glass crystal free of chips or scratches. It measures 22mm across and the compass diameter is 17mm. It is attached to a gold filled chain and hallmarked gold filled brooch. Would make a great gift. |
