| This is a liquid filled compass made by the famous J. H. Steward based in London. The compass dates c. 1920. It has a polished brass case in excellent condition. It is marked THE STEWARD PATENT LIQUID COMPASS. The glass crystal is in excellent condition without chips or scratches. The typical Singer’s like dial has also a nice design and is in excellent condition. It is marked J. H. STEWARD LTD., LONDON. The compass points North without any problem. Very nice and rare example of a quality maker. Measure 52mm in diameter and is 2cm thick. The leather case is in flawless condition. |
