The Boreal Arrow

Code BA140713590: Daynife Swiss Wrist Compass, c. 1920

This is a WW1 era wrist compass in nickel plated case. No dings or dents to the case with only normal signs of use and aging. It has a rotating bezel that activates the transit lock when the bezel is rotated clockwise and freezes the needle when the compass is not used. When rotated anti-clockwise the jewelled blue needle is released and finds North without any problem. The dial is marked REG. US. PATENT OFF, DAYNIFE, SWISS. The beveled glass is original and in excellent condition. The compass is working perfectly and finds magnetic North precisely. It measures 39mm in diameter.
