This is a rare compass made by ASTON & MANDAR LTD in LONDON in 1908. It comes in a brass nickel plated brass case. The case is engraved ASTON & MANDAR LTD, LONDON, V, 1351, 1908. The case is still in nice condition with some loss to the plating and other signs of use. The glass crystal is in excellent condition without scratches or chips. The Singer's Patent dial is in flawless condition. The compass is precise and finds North easily. Rare and quality compass. Measures 46mm in diameter. |
