Code BA130623211: C. 1850 Wooden German Sundial and Compass
| This is a nice and rare sundial compass in a wood case made in Germany around 1850. The wood case is in very good condition. It has two reapired lines to the side of the cover but nothing serious. The compass is covered with high domed glass crystal in excellent condition without chips or scratches. The rotating dial has nice features and allows reading the solar time. The compass points North without any problem. The maximum diameter of the wood case is 53mm. Its height is 46mm (higher than similar models). |
