| This is a WW1 officers pocket compass, engraved Sherwood & Co., London, V No 33173, 1915. The case is Nickel plated without dings or dents and with loss to the plating. It has a strong hinge. Bevelled glass crystal covers the distinctive Singers patent style dial card. In full working order including the transit lock. Points North without any problem. A rare military example. It measures 4.4cm in diameter. |
