This is a beautiful and rare full hunter compass made by the famous Francis Barker & Son firm in London in 1907. It comes in a solid silver case that is still in excellent condition with only normal signs of use. No dings or dents. Inside the lid it has clear English hallmarks and maker mark: F. B. & Sn. The case has a strong hinge and the front lid springs open when the push button is pressed. It has a mother-of-pearl dial, which is a real beauty. It measures 36 mm in diameter. This is a beautiful compass that would make a great gift. |
