Code BA10042436: 1898 Barker & Son Hallmarked Silver Antique Fob Charm Compass
| This is a nice and rare compass hallmarked silver compass made in 1898. The case is solid silver and bears the Francis Barker & Son marks F.B. & S and the London hallmarks for year 1898. The compass has slightly domed glass crystals on both sides. The case and crystals are in excellent condition without damage. The compass could also be used as a magnifier. The compass has a quality bar needle suspended between the two glass crystals. It has two different patterns for the dial sides. It is very precise and points North easily. It comes in its original leather/wood case still in excellent condition. The compass measures 40mm in diameter and the leather case has 49mm diameter. Rare and quality compass. |
