This is a nice Elgin pocket watch made in 1941. It is in excellent running order and keeps excellent time. It has been recently cleaned, oiled and timed. SIZE and WEIGHT This is a 10 size 5 model. It measures around 45 mm (1.77 inches) in diameter (excluding pendant crown and bow). It weighs about 49 g (1.72 ounces). CASE The open-face case is Gold Plated and still in excellent condition for its age without any damage. Engraved inside the back lid: CASED AND TIMED BY ELGIN NATIONAL WATCH CO., 10K ROLLED GOLD PLATE. It has serial number 51946. MOVEMENT 10 Size movement in excellent and clean condition. Marked Elgin 546 U. S. A. with serial number E201936. It is also marked 15 JEWELS. This is stem wind and set movement and has 15 jewels. It is running strong and keeps excellent time. DIAL The metal dial is in nice condition without any damage. It is marked Elgin. HANDS The hands are original and in excellent condition. CRYSTAL The glass crystal is in excellent condition without scratches or chips. This is a nice pocket watch fully functional and has been professionally checked and timed.
