| This a nice Hamilton pocket watch made around 1912. It is in excellent running order and keeps excellent time. It has been recently cleaned, oiled and timed. SIZE and WEIGHT This is a 16 size, Model 1, Grade 974. It measures around 51 mm (1.99 inches) in diameter (excluding pendant crown and bow). It weighs about 95 g.CASE The open-face salesman case is made of white metal and still in excellent condition without any dings or dents.MOVEMENT 16 Size movement in excellent and clean condition.Marked Hamilton Watch Co., Lancaster, Pa. with serial number 848747, ADJUSTED, 17 JEWELS. This is stem wind and set movement and has 17 jewels. It is running strong and keeps excellent time. DIAL The single-sunk white porcelain dial is in excellent condition without any hairlines with only a small nick to the edge between 1 and 2, but it is hidden by the bezel.It features large black Arabic numerals at the 5 minute marks on the main chapter ring, and an inner chapter ring printed in red that numbered the hours 13 through 24. It is marked Hamilton. HANDS The moon shape blue steel hands are original and in excellent condition.CRYSTAL Both glass crystals are in excellent condition.This is a nice and rare pocket watch that has been very well preserved over the years. It is fully functional and has been professionally checked and timed.
