Code BA11051741.2: Antique 1879 Rockford Sterling Silver 18 Size Private Label Transition Pocket Watch

This is a vintage 18 Size (57mm in diameter) Rockford pocket watch dating from 1879, with solid silver 3 oz case in full working order and keeping excellent time. The case is made by the Waltham American Watch Co. (marked in side the back lid). It  is Sterling Silver (marked inside the back lid) in excellent condition without dings or dents. Inside the back lid it still have its original paper testifying that the case was manufactured by the Waltham company and that it is Sterling Silver. It has serial number  G 169. The face is white with black Roman numerals marking the hour. An inside center second dial exists with black numbers marked in increments of 10 up to 60. The dial is marked Rockford Watch Co., Illinois. It is in mint condition. No hairline or chips. Hands are blue and in excellent condition. The thick glass crystal is original and in excellent condition. The movement is mint condition.  It is a transition movement that can be key or stem wound. It is lever set (next to 5). It is also a private label: John C. M,oe from Eau Clair, Wisconsin. It is also engraved PAT. PINION, with serial number 82713, which dates this watch to 1879.
