| This is a nice 315 Grade, Elgin pocket watch made in 1925. It is in excellent running order and keeps excellent time. It has been recently serviced (cleaned, oiled and timed). SIZE and WEIGHT This is a 12 size 3 model. It measures around 44 mm (1.77 inches) in diameter (excluding pendant crown and bow). It weighs about 60 g (2.11 ounces).CASE The open-face case is 14K Gold Filled and still in excellent condition for its age without any damage.It has an unusual square form. Engraved inside the back lid: S. W. C. Co., 14K GOLD FILLED. It has serial number 6218450. MOVEMENT 12 Size movement in excellent and clean condition.Marked Elgin Natl. Watch Co., U. S. A., 15 JEWELS with serial number 27751959. This is stem wind and set movement and has 15 jewels. It has been serviced, is running strong and keeps excellent time. DIAL The white porcelain dial is in flawless condition without any chips or hairlines.It is marked Elgin. HANDS The spade blue steel hands are original and in excellent condition.CRYSTAL The glass crystal is in excellent condition without scratches or chips.This is a nice pocket watch fully functional and has been professionally checked and timed.
