Code A03: Vintage Huge Swiss Solid Silver DOXA Pocket Watch

 This is a nice vintage Swiss DOXA à LIEGE pocket watch dating from 1905. It is huge compared to other pocket watches size. It measures about 61mm in diameter. It is in excellent working condition and keeping excellent time. The case is swiss solid silver in great condition as can be seen in the pictures with only normal wear from use. On back lid it has nice design with name: Emil Rueg. Inside back lid it has swiss silver hallmarks and serial number. On dust cover it is engraved MEDAILLE D'OR MILAN 1906, DOXA, HORS CONCOURS, LIEGE 1905. Inside dust cover it is engraved with swiss silver hallmarks and serial number. The crystal is in excellent condition without scratches or chips. In very good condition with only two hairlines not that visible and that do not distract from the beauty of the dial. It is made of porcelain and has Roman numerals marking the hours and a sub dial marking the seconds. Marked Anti-Magnétique, DOXA. The swiss movement is stem wind and lever set. It is huge compared to other movement sizes. I've put a picture of the movement with a 18 Size Waltham 1857 model (which is not included in this sale). Please look at the difference of sizes !!!  It marked DOXA and  is running strong and keeps excellent time.
