The Boreal Arrow

Code T21: English 16K Gold Small Compass, c. 1900

This is a nice compass dating c. 1900. It is housed in a 16K Gold case (tested with a Mizar M24). The case is surrounded with a chain in the form of a two-tone rope, which is probably made of silver and gold. The compass has glass crystals on each side, which act as bearings for the needle suspended between them. The glass crystals have some fine scratches but nothing serious. The compass has a dial ring on each side with a some discolouration due to aging. The compass is still in working order. It measures 22mm in diameters.
