| This is a nice Girl Scout compass in open face nickel compass. The case is in excellent condition without dings or dents. The face is stamped with Taylor-Rochester, NY., REG. US. PAT. OFFICE. It is also marked with the initials G. S. (Girl Scout) inside a trefoil . The blue crescent needle points North very precisely. The face is covered with a glass crystal free of scratches or chips. The compass has a transit lock activated when the crown under the loop is screwed. It measures about 4.3 cm in diameter. This is a nice and quality compass that would make a great gift. |
