| This is a nice french compass dating from around 1920. It comes in a brass case with a lid. The case and lid are in excellent condition without any dings or dents. It is stamped with the digit 4 on the side.The lid closes securely as it should. The compass has a silver-colored dial with cardinal and sub-cardinal directions. The dial is covered with a thick bevelled glass crystal in excellent condition without chips or scratches.The compass has a silver and blue colored needle with a brass cap. It is very sensitive and finds North without any problem.The case measures around 51mm in diameter. |
