| This is a WWI Ceebynite military pocket compass. It has jeweled bearing, actuating, self lever. Marked CEEBYNITE, SHORT & MASON, TAYLOR-ROCHESTER, NY, PAT. APR. 20-1915 on dial. The dial is a dry card and in excellent condition. It is covered with a glass crystal free of chips or scratches. Case is nickel and in excellent condition. When the button is pressed the lid springs open. It has a strong hinge. In perfect working order and finds North easily. Measures 45.5mm in diameter. |
